Candied Jalapeno Hummus

So I had a craving for Hummus today and was looking through the internet to find a recipe that I wanted to make, but did not really find anything that appealed to me.... so I made my own.

I am a huge fan of Latin American/Mexican Food, so it only seemed natural to use Lime, Cilantro and Jalapenos in my Candied Jalapeno Hummus. The candied Jalapenos give a sweet and smoky flavor to the hummus, while the Lime and Cilantro give it another little kick! Hope you enjoy as much as I did/do!

1 Can Chick Peas (Garbanzo Beans), Drained (reserve bean water and set to the side)
1 C. Bean Water
2 Limes, Juiced
2 Tbsp. Tahini
1 Tsp. Minced Garlic
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1/3 Bunch of Cilantro
1/3 C Candied Jalapenos

Blend Together in Blender and Serve Cold

Many business have finally come to the realization that owning e-real estate is a big part of who they are. If I want to find out information about some company, before emailing, calling or, dare I say, faxing anything to them, I want to checkout their website. And further more, if a company that sells a product or service has a great website, but no marketing tolls employed to get potential customers to that website, they might as well shut it down...

a website is only as good as the marketing to draw attention to it.

Therefore, if you have a website, you need to advertise it. You need to get your company's name, tag, and info out there so that people can learn about you and eventually be converted from lead into a sale. So here is a list of how to market your online website:

Use It Everywhere
Put it on your business cards, flyers, postcards - any business advertisement should have your website attached to it. I even have mine in my email signature so that every time I send an email, someone sees the site name and link.
Use Google Adwords
This service from Google allows you to advertise any where that Google Adsense Ads are served up. Say, for instance, that you are a paint company that services Cypress, Texas. You can setup Google Adwords to show your ad for "Cypress Paint Co." anytime that someone searches for "paint", "paint company", or "exterior paint" from the Cypress, Texas area. This is a powerful ad that gets customer to your website for mere pennies per click.
Add It To Directories
Many different Search Engines also offer directories so that a user can search by organized categories. Google, Yahoo, MSN and others all offer this feature, for a small yearly fee. There is also an Open Directory where a user can suggest a website to be added to the directory for free.
Create an Internet Buzz
When you are dealing with the world of internet marketing, you have to be creative. One way to be creative is to create a buzz on the internet with the use of a Product Evangelist. This evangelist searches the web for blogs, forums, websites and discussions that pertain to your product or service. When applicable, the Product Evangelist (PE) will help to solve a problem that someone has mentioned by pointing them to your website. It is important to ensure you are not just comment spamming but that you are truly resolving someone's issue by sending them to your website.

Marketing Gets Closer Than We Might Like

In the October 2008 issue of Inc. Magazine wrote an article entitled "We See You - Want A List of Nearby Stores?" which deals with a new kind of Targeted Marketing. It discusses the ability for advertisers to locate a cell phone user based on the GPS ability built into the user's cell phone. This type of advertising has been used in a similar way with online advertisers.

With the Online medium, a user's IP Address, which is like the address where any internet based information is sent to, is converted into a street address or GPS Address. Then an online application would cater the ads served on a page to that user's GPS or physical street address. For example, if I search for "Cars" on Google while in the Houston area, the following Google ad comes onto the page:

The GPS Advertisements on cell phones would work in the same manner. If I am walking down the street and lookup "Clothes" on my cell phone, the advertisers using the GPS location marketing might throw up an add saying "Come now to get new Shirts 20% Off - walk 100 feet south on Acorn St". Thus the power of this incredible new technology!

What Is Social Networking?

Social Networking is a term that has become popular just over the last 5 or 6 years; it is basically a means of locating and communication with people that you know and the people that they know.

Social Networks are web sites that incorporate social networking into their core. For instance, MySpace and Facebook, are two giants in the social networking genre that have just grown exponential becuase of the core principle of social networking.

Reaction21 Launches New Website

It's finally here! I have been working hard over the last few weeks to get this site to exactly where I needed it to be! And it has finally happened!

I, Gabriel Fuller, have just started Reaction21, an Application and Design service company in the Houston area. My dream is to be the #1 company in this business in the Greater Houston area (just Houston now; the USA comes later). And I beleive that it will happen with hard work and dedication from myself and my employees (those come later as well; freelancers for now).
